The launch of Dextre is an accomplishment for Canada and for the many people who contributed to its development.
A space mission with international participation, such as Mission STS-123, requires effective teamwork and dedication by hundreds of people: from engineers, operations planners, mission controllers, instructors, writers, and communications and logistics specialists, to spokespersons, project managers, technicians, programmers, and many others. Some 35 companies contributed to the development of Dextre.
In the videos on this page, some members of the Canadian Space Agency Dextre team speak about their involvement in the project and reflect on what it means to them.
